What North Raleigh does to a window
North Raleigh is the ground between Interstate 440 and Falls Lake, and it was pine forest before it was anything else. The loblollies left standing along Falls of Neuse Road, Six Forks Road, Strickland Road and Leesville Road drop their pollen in late March and April, and because the lots in Stonehenge, Greystone, Harrington Grove and North Ridge are big and wooded, the pollen keeps falling for weeks after the city streets have been rinsed clean. The shade from those pines and the oaks mixed in with them keeps the north glass damp all summer, and the screens grow a green film by August. At Falls Lake itself, homes in Bedford at Falls River and along Raven Ridge Road get morning mist off the water in spring and fall.
Wakefield, Bedford and the subdivisions up Durant Road and Falls of Neuse are among the newest parts of the city, and the red clay dust from the lots still being graded settles on glass well beyond the job site. Irrigation runs every morning from May through September across most of these neighborhoods, and on the fairways at North Ridge Country Club, Wakefield and Brier Creek Country Club the overspray leaves hard mineral spots along the lower panes that build month over month. Brier Creek, out by the airport on the Durham line, adds a fine dust off the highway and the commercial construction along Glenwood Avenue. In fall the oaks and sweetgums drop into the gutters over about six weeks.
A quarterly plan suits most North Raleigh homes, with the inside glass done once a year, and most customers add a visit right after the April pollen. Fairway homes at North Ridge, Wakefield and Brier Creek Country Club, and lakeside homes in Bedford and along Falls Lake, often go to every two months through the summer. These houses run to two-story foyers and great-room glass, and we clean them with water-fed poles from the ground and ladders where needed. We know the gate procedure at Brier Creek Country Club, work each neighborhood on its own day, work the whole street in one pass, and send a text the morning of each visit.

North Raleigh window cleaning questions
How much does window cleaning cost in North Raleigh?
First-clean pricing varies by home size and service package. A first cleaning, inside and out, is $259 for a home up to 2,000 square feet, $329 for 2,000 to 3,500 square feet, and $429 for larger homes on our Silver package. After that, a quarterly maintenance plan runs $60, $77, or $100 a month for those same home sizes. Lakefront and estate homes get a custom quote.
How often should windows be cleaned in North Raleigh?
Quarterly keeps the pollen, shade mildew and clay dust under control for most North Raleigh homes, with the spring visit timed for right after the pine pollen. Fairway homes at North Ridge, Wakefield and Brier Creek and lakeside homes near Falls Lake often go to every two months from May through September. Most people have the inside glass done once a year.
Do you work inside Brier Creek Country Club and other gated neighborhoods?
Yes. We are set up for the gate procedure at Brier Creek Country Club and for any neighborhood with a gate or a guard. Add us to your gate list or give us the procedure when you book, and we send a text the morning of each visit so you know when we are coming.
Can you remove the sprinkler spots from the fairway side of the house?
In most cases, yes. Irrigation overspray that hits the same lower panes every morning from May to September leaves mineral spots that a regular clean will not take off. Point them out on the quote form and we will assess them on the first visit and tell you what a dedicated treatment will remove.
